Keep Busy

Jungle Walks
A morning or a full day of easy walking through the more accessible areas of the jungle

Jungle Treks
For the more adventurous, guides will escort you into the mountains and the heart of the jungle for a full day or overnight stays

The jungle has a variety of flora and fauna. The wild animals including elephants, bears, leopards, deer, wild boars, wild dogs, monkeys and snakes, are elusive but on the occasions when they are seen, your guides will try to ensure that it is from a distance

Bats
At dusk, an evening spectacle occurs when over 1,000,000 bats exit the caves surrounding Wat Ban Moong. Watch them from a distance or stand under the cave entrances where you can not only see them but hear them, smell them, and feel them

Wild Monkeys
They descend from the cliffs to a small wat where the monkeys are tame enough to eat from your hand

Phatapon Cave
Attached to the monkey wat, a five minute walk through the cave, under the cliffs, enters into a small national park

Forest Wats
Beautiful in their naturalness, there are three separate wats built at the base of the cliffs on the fringe of the jungle

Motor Cycles
A great way to explore the villages and the attractions of the surrounding area

Whitewater Rafting

An hour away, the river has some great whitewater and travels through spectacular jungle scenery

Phitsanulok
A day trip to the city, which was once the capitol of Thailand for 25 years, includes a visit to the famous wat Yai, a folklore museum, a Buddha casting foundry and lunch at a floating restaurant on the Nan River
